I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2017. Rather than spending the rest of my life dwelling on this setback, I thought I would be proactive and use my running to raise funds and awareness for PCR. Myself and Irene Brown and Sue Bond started raising funds in 2018 by street collections, supermarket collections and starting up the RUNSTERS running club. Since then in excess of £20k has been donated to PCR for research by running many many miles.

This year I ran many medium/long distance events both road and trail, with support from my running buddies. These included the Suffolk Coastal 50k ultra, the Darkside Events Sunset Marathon, the Dunwich Trail Marathon and the TCS virtual London Marathon.   

A knee injury has made me postpone my 24hr challenge to spring 2023
