I will be trekking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks on 12th May 2023 to raise funds for Young Lives vs Cancer. 

Why I am doing this now? 

Through looking at ways to include more service to others into my day to day life. Selfishly, I love the sense of awe you experience from places like the Lake district, combine that with the challenge, AND helping families deal with cancer  - to me it's a no brainer!

My longest hike to date is 24km, ascending 840m. So 38km ascending an accumulated +1500m will certainly test me! Not taking it for granted I'll make it.

I would be massively... hugely grateful if you could help me reach my target of £380 - £10 per kilometer. However little, it all adds up, and goes to where it can collectively have a significant impact.

What Young Lives vs Cancer do?

Young Lives vs Cancer help children and young people with cancer find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. Every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Money raised helps support families by:

• providing essential technology to provide remote support at difficult times
• funding social workers to help them find the strength to deal with the unique day to day challenges 
• ensuring families facing money worries can pay for basics like food
