Story
Secondary breast cancer is incurable. Patients currently receive treatments that will inevitably stop working, as their cancer cells become resistant to treatments. We are supporting Make 2nds Counts fund vital research that will in time save lives.
My sister, Carol, died on Halloween 2018. She had suffered various bouts of cancer over a few years until finally there was nothing that could be done.
She was amazing! In her last years, she did all things she wanted to do- and all with her daughters, Claire and Colette (both of who are amazing girls).
Sadly, Carol is not the only one who has had cancer, had the treatments, been given the all clear, only for it to return worse than before.
There are many, many people out there who continue to fight to have the best life they can for as long as possible..
A friend, Karen, is one such person. Strong, determined, amazing- just like Carol , and it was her posts about her own experience and her fighting spirit that gave me the idea to do this.
If you can join me, Nuffield OMNI, Edinburgh is the place, Saturday 2 November @ 0930-1230 is the time.
I've got some instructor friends to help me out, so you won't have to listen to my music all the way through!

Thank you. Stevie
