Hey You!,
Once again I'm taking part in ‘The Big Fish’ on 13/06/2009 to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support and would really welcome your support.
As you may know I’m a bit of a stranger to exercise, but no stranger to a fish supper and as there is no chance of me taking part in any marathons in the near future, the best way I can think of raising money for charity is by taking part in THE BIG FISH 2009.
Big Fish is Macmillan Cancer Support’s annual Fly Fishing Fundraising Event, and this year takes place at nine venues across where participants will have the chance to win up to £1000. This year I will be participating at Stoneyfield Lochs Trout Fishery and should I be lucky enough to win any of the prizes, I will be donating it back to Macmillan Cancer Support to help support those living with cancer.
You can find out more info on the event here:
http://www.macmillan.org.uk/Get_Involved/National_events/TheBigFish.aspx
Last year's Big Fish raised £184,000 for Macmillan, and with your help I’d like to play my part in raising funds. All the money collected from the Big Fish will be used to fund vital local cancer services.
In order to participate I need to raise a minimum of £50 but with your help I’d like to raise a whole lot more and exceed last years total of £228. All I ask is that you visit the link below and take a moment to sponsor me. It's really easy - you can donate online by credit card, debit card or paypal.
ANY AMOUNT, NO MATTER HOW LITTLE OR LARGE, IS GREATLY APPRECIATED AND WILL HELP ME IN RAISING FUNDS FOR A CHARITY THAT IS VERY CLOSE TO MY HEART. EVEN A FEW QUID WILL HELP ME REACH MY GOAL.
All donations are secure and sent electronically to Macmillan Cancer Support. If you are a taxpayer, Justgiving will automatically reclaim 28% Gift Aid on your behalf, so your donation is worth even more. Please join me in supporting Macmillan Cancer Support and a fabulous cause.
Thanks and best wishes,
Stevie.
