Stewart died very peacefully in the Marie Curie hospice on April 13th. Both he and the family were looked after well by the wonderful staff of the Marie Curie hospice for whom nothing was too much trouble. Throughout his life, he was was a leading academic researcher and international activist in the field of children's rights.
