Stewart stomping in style for SAMH

SAMH Stomp · 6 October 2018
I will once again be taking part in the SAMH Stomp on the 6th October 2018, stomping around 4200 stairs of Murrayfield Stadium. The reason I am doing this is to help stomp out the stigma surrounding mental health issues in Scotland and to help out a wonderful charity.
Mental health is a cause and subject very close to my heart, it's something that affects me personally and will affect a lot of you personally.
Every year 1 in 4 people in Scotland will experience a mental health problem. If you don't suffer yourself then you will probably know someone who does. SAMH does vital work in Scotland to be there for those who need help, promote good mental health and also help to end the stigma and discrimination that surrounds mental health issues.
I am someone who has issues from time to time with my mental health and one of the things I did to help overcome it is to start running and do events like this - I would like to use my running to raise awareness and vital funds to keep the good work of SAMH going strong.
Thank you in advance for your support, it really means a lot to myself, SAMH and all those you will be helping though your donations!
