STICK IT TO CANCER: AROUND THE WORLD IN
40 DAYS.  

Cancer doesn’t stop and Maggie’s requires our help more than ever! In celebration of Maggie’s 25^th Birthday and  to continue
raising funds & awareness we invite you, your family and friends to take on

WHAT IS  IT?

We want to unite virtually and run, walk, cycle, swim, row 24,901 miles which is the distance around the world. The challenge will run between Thursday 1^st July &
Friday 13^th August allowing us 40 days to smash our target.

WHAT’S INVOLVED?

• You can sign up as an individual or as a team of
  up to 6 people. Remember to give yourself a team name.
• Everyone who signs up will receive a Maggie’s T
  shirt.
• Each person needs to keep a record of how many
  miles cover each week. We recommend downloading Strava. You can choose to run, walk, cycle, skate or scoot - be creative as you can!
• Individually or as a team try to log as many miles
  as possible between  Thursday 1^st July & Friday 13^th August
• Team captains collate the distance covered or as
  individuals email heather@fucancer.co.uk at the end of each week.
• Prizes available for the individual and team who
  achieve the longest distance and post the best photo or video saying #FUCANCER.

HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?

• Team captains & individuals email heather@fucancer.co.uk  to register. Please include T shirt size and postal address.
• When registering as a team include list of participants & team name
• Every participant is asked to donate £10 to
  Maggie’s
• In addition to a Maggie’s T Shirt every participant
  who donates will receive access to  STICK
  IT TO CANCER CELEBRATION on Saturday 14th August.

WHEN?

The challenge will run between Thursday 1^st July & Friday 13^th
August

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Please follow Government guidance, practice
  social distancing when exercising and keep yourself safe
• Winners will be announced on Saturday 14th of August
  at the STICK IT TO CANCER CELEBRATION
• We would love to see your photos and videos
  whilst you 'STICK IT TO CANCER' so please tag us on Instagram @fucancer_uk and
  post on them on the STICK IT TO CANCER – AROUND THE WORLD IN 40 DAYS Event
  Facebook Page.
• All funds raised are in aid of the Maggie's
  Cancer Centre in Edinburgh.
• There will be updates throughout the challenge
  on the Facebook and Instagram pages so stay tuned and Good Luck!
