Today's been such a fantastic day! I'm pleased to say I completed the GNR in just under 2 hours along with thousands of other people! A big thank you to Simon (pictured here with me) for helping me train for this great event, and for pushing me up all those hills! An even bigger thank you to all of our sponsors for backing our effort today and helping me cross the finishing line – I promise you I was thinking of you all!
We have to date raised over £1,000.00 for The British Heart Foundation – Well done everyone! I can happily announce I have achieved some rather large blisters along with very sore legs! All worth it though – I think I deserve a beer now!
This page will be live for another three months, so anyone who promised they'd sponsor me and still haven't – here's your chance!

Tomorrow's the big day – any last-minute sponsors feel free to support me – I'll wave to you on telly!
Well what can I say? Always liked a bit of a challenge – this year have vowed to complete the Great North Run (13.1 miles/21km – HELP!!!) to raise money in support of the great work of the British Heart Foundation.
Heart and circulatory disease is the UK’s biggest killer. A huge number of people live with heart disease and many people need help and support from BHF campaigns.
With a little support from you, we can help the BHF with their invaluable work and will make the Great North Run so much easier for me to complete...
Please help me cross the finishing line – sponsor me now and support a good cause!
