We are Blackout, an F1 in Schools team from St John’s College, Cardiff, made up of 6 determined and ambitious individuals with the aim of becoming World Champions. On this path, we aim to spread our enthusiasm about STEM to the local community, and our brand as a sustainable team. 

This season has been ground-breaking for us, with the team excelling across all aspects of the competition. We recently came second in the UK National Finals, sensationally breaking the 20-year old UK record with a time of 1.036 seconds. We are now looking forward to representing Wales and Team GB in the 2022 WORLD FINALS, due to take place this July in Silverstone.
