Story
On 3rd April, my friends and I will be completing the Tough Mudder race to fundraise for St Mark’s Universal Care, a charity that is dear to our hearts.
St Mark’s is a UK based charity, founded in 2013 by the Anglo-Coptic Community, working to provide effective healthcare support to deprived communities in Egypt, North Africa and the Middle East, where access to healthcare is extremely difficult a limited. They focus on the physical and mental well-being of people living in the margins of society who deserve our help and really need it.
This can be done by providing medicines and the infrastructure, equipment and knowledge to combat disease. The charity also builds healthcare centres and hospitals, and provides life-saving medicines and equipment’s for impoverished communities. Moreover, they work with local charities in the UK on projects and fundraising initiatives, making a difference to our communities close to home.
As members of the Coptic community, this charity is so important to us and helps people just like us who deserve a better life. With your donations, the charity will continue to provide life-saving support and care to the disadvantaged and give people a better future. We all really appreciate any donations you make. Any amount means the world to us and will be going to a great cause.
