In a normal year there would have been stalls at events. We would  have busked, we could have held pub quizzes, some of us were even occasionally sponsored to run half marathons. Actually we were secretly pleased when that was no longer an option. But the truth is Amnesty is entirely funded by public donations. When our fundraising stops all our work stops too.

Amnesty International is a movement of ordinary people from across the world standing up for humanity and human rights. When injustice happens to one person, it happens to us all.
