Every year at Christmas, The Salvation Army, Stockport Citadel provides toys, gifts and food for families who are in financial difficulty.  These children are mostly referred to us by professional support workers in health care or education settings. 

Last year, we supported over 450 children, by providing toys.  As well as seasonal gifts we provided food parcels to young people living on their own, having just left care.  

We are anticipating a greater demand on our resources this year due to rising energy costs and any gift you are able to make to our appeal will be most gratefully received.
