This page is in memory of of our son Zachary Rao, who passed away suddenly on the 29th September 2009. Zach had a variety of medical conditions some of which made learning and being independent difficult. Despite this he managed to lead a happy and fulfilling life due to his strong character and bravery but also due to support from many (mainly charitable)organisations.

Stockport CP runs a program called Sharecare, which provides volunteers to support children with disabilities in various mainstream activities such as playschemes and youth clubs. This proved invaluable and allowed Zach to gain independence in a safe environment.

We (his parents and family) would encourage donations to Stockport CP in memory of Zach, so other kids in his position can be supported in this way.
