Story
The Year 6 group at school have been inspired by the work of
Captain Tom Moore and they asked me if we could do some fundraising for NHS charities in his memory.
They came up with the idea of a Year 6 ‘100 Mile challenge’. We
worked out that if every child in the class walked 3 miles over half-term, we wouldn’t be far away from 100! So, over half-term, we will be walking and running to see if we can hit our target by Sunday 21st February.
UPDATE - 22.02.21
Year 6 are still sending in their totals but so far they have already clocked up 152 miles of walking!
