Stoke Row School’s Land’s End to John O’Groats Trek · 25 June 2021

FOSRS is an active and enthusiastic team of parent volunteers who raise funds for Stoke Row CE Primary School projects and facilities. It also organises fun activities and social events throughout the year to nurture a community for parents and children.

Story

Between the 25th June and the 12th of July, the children at school will be embarking on a collective challenge to travel virtually from Land’s End to John O’Groats, a total of 1, 407km.  Can the children make the journey?  Or can they even exceed it?!

We hope that this gets the children out and about exploring the area, having fun, challenging them, and at the same time raising vital money for our lovely village school.

Stoke Row Primary School has been hit hard by ever tightening budgets and the impact of Covid-19 and the aim is to raise as much money as possible to help cover running costs and fund additional resources but the event also provides a great opportunity for the children to increase their physical activity and fitness levels.

All children are encouraged to take part, regardless of their fitness and we hope to make it an event that everyone will enjoy and remember for a long time.
