13 and 14 Stoneyfield Cottages Christmas Lights

Ben Lewis is raising money for Chestnut Tree House Children's Hospice
In memory of Cherie Sampson
Chestnut Tree House is the children’s hospice for East Sussex, West Sussex, Brighton and Hove and South East Hampshire, caring for 300 children and young adults from 0-19 years of age every year, both at the hospice and in families’ own homes.

Story

House numbers 13 and 14 at Stoneyfield Cottages have put together a spectacular Christmas Display to support Chestnut Tree House, a local children's hospice who cares for young people aged between 0-19 with progressive life-shortening conditions. We are fundraising in memory of Cherie who lived at number 14, and Chestnut Tree House was a charity close to her heart.

Chestnut Tree House supports young people in need through many services, providing 24/7 support to remove some of the responsibilities for their families temporarily, but also bereavement support and counselling when needed.

Chestnut Tree House needs our help. It costs over £4 million each year for them to provide their fantastic services, and under 6% of that is government funded. In order to function as they do, they need to raise £6,850 every single day.

The lights will be on every evening from the 27th of November to the 6th of January. Please come visit them at Stoneyfield Cottages, Eastergate Lane. Any donations would be greatly appreciated!
