Story

Our Mum (and our Dad) were always an inspiration for us...very organised, capable, instilling strong values in us, driving us to do our best, and making sacrifices to allow us to achieve our dreams. Alzheimers is a cruel disease robbing people of their capabilities but, even more tragically, their dignity and pride. It has a massive impact on those caring for her, both physically and emotionally. We want to help to find a cure for this to avoid other families having to suffer what we are currently experiencing. We would really appreciate any donations that you can give us to help us meet this goal, thank you so much, Lesley and Yvonne xx

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
