Story
Time to Talk Day is the 4th February, which celebrates talking therapies, peer support groups, befriending and other mental health services. One in four of us will be affected by mental health problems and for many there is still a taboo in speaking about this, giving people feelings of isolation, loneliness and being ashamed.
Changes Bristol has teamed up with Bristol based group, Story Slam, to host an event with live story-telling, poetry and spoken word. Anyone can take part, please just get in contact with your reading.
Entrance fee is £5 per person (free for Changes Bristol members) and all donations will go directly towards supporting Changes Bristol services in helping people in mental health distress.
Sign up here to be sent the Zoom link and join us on the night -
