Story

We are fundraising for the 'Going for Gold' Challenge set by England Hockey and Alzheimer's Research UK, in support of Imran Sherwani who is living with Alzheimer's disease. Imran, past player of Stourport Hockey Club in the 80's and 90's, represented GB at the Seoul 1988 Olympics, scoring two decisive goals in the final to take gold. Imran has inspired so many of us in the hockey community and beyond. Thank you so much for your support, every penny we raise will help fund life-changing dementia research. Our club day on 4th Sept raised an additional £382 for this great cause. We will keep this page live until 3rd Oct when the London Marathon is completed by Zac I+(Imran's son). All further donations greatly appreciated. Many thanks SHC
