Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  I am Louise and have been the Vicar of St Paul's Dosthill for nearly 8 years.

St Paul's church is here for everyone in the community. 

People come to the church seeking and worship God, needing wisdom, direction and peace, celebrating a wedding, to say goodbye to someone they love, to baptise babies and adults into the wider Christian family.  

We are not an inward looking church, just looking to keep ourselves going. We look for ways to serve our community - we regularly put on events for children, run a Baby & Toddler group, host coffee mornings in the chapel, maintain the churchyard so it is a place of comfort and peace, put on Fetes, musical events, Christmas and Easter celebrations. We have a pastoral care team who visit those who are older and housebound or bereaved. We regularly run groups looking at what it is to be a Christian, or different ways of praying or looking at parts of the Bible.  We also support Charities both locally and further afield and take up collections for any Emergency appeals.  All of this is only happens because of the love of Christ and the support and generosity of the community we serve.

It falls to us now to ensure that the church as a place of worship, mission and service are here for future generations and so we are having an appeal - for one off and also regular donations.

On my page it states that the charity I am raising is Birmingham DBF.  This is Diocese of Birmingham who will ensure we receive any money donated.
