Story
The University of Strathclyde Women's Rugby Club are following the Scottish national women's team on their Six Nations 2020 tour to raise money for Cancer Research UK. We will be running, cycling and rowing the distance between the match venues before each round.
- For the first leg we will complete 309 km from Scotstoun Stadium in Glasgow to the Energia Park in Dublin for our first match against Ireland.
- The second stint of 309 km will take us back to Scotstoun Stadium in Glasgow for our home match against England.
- Two weeks later we will have travelled 1472 km to the Stadio Giovanni Mari in Legnano to play Italy.
- Then making the 1472 km back to home turf at Scotstoun Stadium in Glasgow for our match against France.
- Our final leg of 494 km will take us to the Cardiff Arms Park to play Wales.
Updates on our challenge will be posted here and on our social media pages. Please help us raise as much as we can to contribute towards the lifesaving research and awareness work done by Cancer Research UK!
