Streets Heaver Charity of the year 2022 · 4 January 2022

St Barnabas Hospice is the leading charity in Lincolnshire providing palliative and end-of-life care to adults living with a life-limiting or terminal illness. Our vision is a world where dying with dignity, compassion and having choices is a fundamental part of a life.

Story

St Barnabas Hospice is a local independent charity who supports more than 10,500 people across Lincolnshire with a life-limiting or terminal illness each year. They deliver free, high-quality, compassionate end-of-life care and support to patients, their families and carers. They aim to enable them to live as fully as they are able for however many days, weeks or months they have left. They are reliant on the financial support the community provides, to be there for more patients, their families and carers, every day of the year.

2022 will be St Barnabas Hospice 40 year anniversary, so what a great way to celebrate Streets Heaver's on going relationship with them then to focus our charity efforts this year on them. Throughout the year we look to take on multiple different tasks and events to raise as much money as possible.

In September around 20 Streets Heaver employees take on the challenge of an 18 mile litter pick walk around the city of Lincoln in one day. We had a huge success with this in 2021 so have decided to do it again but have brought it closer to home to a more litter packed area, visiting all of Streets Heaver's previous addresses as we clean up.
Cheer us on by donating money or saying hello on the 9th of September as we take up the challenge!
