Anyone can be the victim of a stroke, no matter what your age or background.

For many people it happens suddenly with no time to prepare. We are fortunate to have expert doctors and nurses on hand at Leicester’s Hospitals to diagnose and treat strokes as quickly as possible. But there is much more that we would like to be able to do for our patients.

The Lord Mayor of Leicester’s Stroke Appeal 2012-13 was co-ordinated by Leicester Hospitals Charity. All funds raised help enhance the care and treatment we offer to stroke patients at Leicester’s Hospitals.

Although the Lord Mayor’s year has ended, you can still donate to the Stroke Appeal to continue our enhancements to the Stroke Service.
