Last July Darin, who was 49 at the time, suddenly and without warning suffered a stroke. Usually a very active and fit man, this came as a massive shock to his family. Despite suffering emotional difficulties and life changing disabilities, Darin is determined to get his life back on track, not only for himself, but for his family too, especially Charlie his 10 year old son. Stroke Association and their dedicated staff really help when times seem bleak. Their support is invaluable to those in need. We are stepping out for stroke to support Darin and to mark his ongoing journey of recovery and to support the amazing work of the Stroke Association.
