The Stroudathon is a 30 Day Step Challenge where each member of the Stroud Resourcing team will complete 10k steps per day, starting 13th Sept - 13th Oct 2021.

Each year we get together to decide on a charity to support with our fundraising activities over the next 12 months. After a challenging year for everybody, we are pleased to announce that we will be doing all we can to support the wonderful work of Mind, the mental health charity, for 2021/21!

Mental health has never been highlighted more than in the last 12 months, and we’re glad this issue is getting more attention. 74% of adults have admitted that they felt so stressed during 2020 they were unable to cope, and on average 18 people commit suicide every day – it’s the single biggest killer of men under the age of 45 in this country, which is horrifying. What’s more, these problems are much more likely to affect those already most vulnerable in our society: ethnic minority groups, young people, and those in poverty. It’s for these reasons we’ve decided to support the important work Mind do.

We’re looking forward to supporting Mind this year, and we’re currently in the process of reviewing our own practices to ensure that workplace wellbeing is always at the forefront of what we do.
