Neonatal Unit Sunderland is raising money for South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust Charitable Funds

We want Christmas to be an extra special one for the babies and their families who are spending this festive time in our unit.
Our Neonatal team is setting out on a challenge to cover as many miles as we can in the lead up to the 12th Day of Christmas (6th January 2023).
Colleagues will be pulling on their walking shoes to cover the miles as if we were walking between 9 European Christmas markets.
Our target distance is 1367 miles, which will virtually "take us" from the door of our unit at Sunderland Royal Hospital to Prague.
Our ‘route’ will take us to Christmas markets in:
York
Rotterdam
Amsterdam
Brussels
Cologne
Luxembourg
Strasbourg
Munich
Salzburg
Prague
Members will be upping their step count between now and Christmas, with each person’s total to be added to our virtual total.

Money raised will be used to buy presents for babies and their families for special days throughout the year such as Christmas Day.
