Yorkshire Dales Three Peaks · 5 May 2019

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Len Johnrose, a former teacher at St Silas' CE Primary School, Blackburn and footballer for a number of high profile clubs such as Blackburn Rovers, Burnley and Swansea City, was diagnosed with Motor Neurone disease earlier in 2018. In a bid to support Len,  and raise awareness of the illness, some members of staff (past and present), are walking the Yorkshire Dales Three Peaks (24 miles) in May.  We are doing this to raise funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association who fund research into future treatments of this incurable disease.

We do not have a minimum, or maximum amount that we would like to raise but we will endeavour to raise as much as we can.
