Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I was out on a walk one day, just trying to keep my fitness up during the lockdown, when I had a strong pull to go over to St Stephens Church building, were I spoke to a man who was part of the livestream's Church's, his name was John and he was taken photo's of the church, I asked! what was happening? and he told me that there was a new build going on which was a vision of our local Rev Colin Baldwin to build new community units and a chapel for our local community as the old one is not fit for purpose. Well i was every interested in getting involved with this build and to be able to help my community, I started getting involved with helping with a build of an industrial sized Poly tunnel and getting very involved with a garden project and other things within this project which I have been doing for some time now, I have found out that the church is in need of raising funds to go towards the new build as it is all self funding. So, I said to myself, as I was just retired that this is something I would love to use my time to help to raise this money and get more involved in helping the community, instead of just wasting my time. I am also nearly 70 in a few monthes and looking to build my fitness up, so a year on, I decided a way of being able to help as I have a great interest in taken up cycling, and on that day I went out and bought myself a road bike to go out and take up doing charity rides, so I have planed a self bike event working with Livestreams Churches, so on the 23rd July, I am doing a 100 plus miles cycle self event, from Great Yarmouth Pier to Southend on Sea Pier in Essex finishing at St Stephens Church on the 23rd July 2022.
My plan is to try and get 100 main sponsors to donate £10 each to be able to get £1,000 + to go towards the funds for this great project and help get this build on the way, I would be grateful for any donations as much or a little as you can afford, as Tesco's says every little helps, I would be so grateful for your help, all 100% of the money goes into the funds to get this new build up and going as quick as possible so we can help this little local community.to build up this community.
Thank you so much for you kind help. God bless you and praise be to God for his guidance on my path to help with this fantastic vision of our Rev Colin. Love to you all Keith.
