My Mum suffers with Arthritis and my Nan had severe rheumatoid Arthritis, for as long as I can remember her, so I have grown up watching the effects this has on peoples way and quality of life. I have watched my mum go from fit and able to suffering and how that affects her physically and mentally. It affects those afflicted and their families and they often suffer in silence and just soldier on with life in constant pain and struggle. Anything that can be done to help Arthritis sufferers is a worthy cause in my book and ai want to help them in any way I can. 

I am also running the 2023 Great North Run as part of this great cause.
