My loving wife and mother to our 2 beautiful boys sadly passed away after battling ovarian cancer for over 3 years. She suffered severely in the last few months of her life but had faith that she would be going to a better place free from pain. This gives me comfort and she must never be forgotten. She has appeared in dreams on a beach by the sea, laughing and her spirit, wit, beauty and determination live on through her our two sons Faris and Rafi. It's important to me that we give to cancer charities hoping one day that a cure will be found but also making life a little more comfortable for those living with this awful disease. 1 in 3 people will get cancer! These are terrible odds and so many people I know seem to be affected. Sport, exercise and a healthy diet go someway to preventing cancer and my love for triathlon brought me to Hyde Park to watch the Olympic triathlon last year. I wish to emulate those phenominal athletes and race the exact same course this year in memory of Samina.
