Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We really appreciate it. Lesley is yet to run a marathon but she is in full training! Stuart has completed the Loch Ness marathon so thinks he knows what he is getting in to however he's not getting any younger! 

Both of our families have enjoyed visits to the Donkey Sanctuary over the years and we felt it would be great to raise funds for a charity so close to our hearts.

Visiting the Donkey Sanctuary is a great family day out. It's educational and fun whilst supporting the needs of Donkeys and Mules around the world. We are very proud to support the work that they do and raise as much as we can doing a sport we love.

We have been running together for nearly a year and enjoyed training for 3 half marathons in 2017 along with a couple of 10K runs. London however is on a whole different level as Lesley keeps saying a marathon is 26.2 miles don't forget the .2! We are so grateful to The Donkey Sanctuary for the opportunity to fulfil our dream of running the London Marathon whilst raising much needed funds for a worthy cause and look forward to the next 9 months.
