For the past 5 years I have been involved with the Cambridge Cancer Help Centre, and in that time have seen how much good that has been done for its members. All of the treatments offered, the facilities provided and the support given are done so free of charge. We therefore rely on the generousity of the public and a few charitable businesses to provide the money to allow us to continue the excellent work.

This year it is my intention, with a little help from my youngest son David, to raise money to help this special charity to help others. We have both signed up with the Unite & Bike Against Cancer cycle ride through Tanzania. This involves cycling 400Km through two National Parks and finishing at the Ngorongoro Crater Reserve.

We will both be paying the full cost of this trip ourselves so that all of the money raised through sponsorship will go to the Cambridge Cancer Help Centre.
