Story

Every Tuesday without fail Freya would go and visit her Great Nanny Quiet with her grandad but due to lockdown she can't visit her like the rest of her family.

Freya calls her Nan Quiet Nanny as she doesn't talk much and has Alzheimers which does affect her speech.

Nanny Quiet lives in a carehome which is daunting place for anyone to visit their relatives but for Freya (who's only 4 years old) it's a time she enjoys, Freya plays games and colouring in with her Nanny aswell as eating all the biscuits she can!!

Freya knows her Nanny is ill but as a child she doesn't understand fully, she knows it as her Nanny has a poorly head and she forgets alot.

For those of you who know Freya she is the most caring individual I know and could show some adults a thing or two. They both have a great relationship in which Quiet Nanny calls Freya the baby, as clear as can be sadly Freya lost her Great Grandad last year and has not let that phase her in going to the carehome.

So whilst in lockdown we have been going for walks and thought we should do something for someone.

So from now till the 31st May she will be walking a minimum of 30 miles if we can walk more we will set a new target.

Please help with this fantastic cause, you could really make a difference to other people's Great Nanny Quiet.

Thank You
