Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Since September 2016, my older son, Isaac, has been suffering from juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). This causes swelling in some of his joints and also uveitis in his eyes. At its worst, Isaac had trouble walking, couldn't run, walking upstairs was difficult, and he had impaired vision. The doctors and nurses at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford have done a fantastic job of treating him, and although he still has the condition, he is symptom free at the moment. He still has to have injections of immunosuppressant drugs every week.

I am raising money to help fund research into arthritis in the hope that more and better drugs can be developed to treat arthritis.
