I am raising money for my work charity of the year, selected by us, the staff. It gives us a chance to raise money to make a genuine difference to those in need. All money raised here will be matched by the partnership of Baillie Gifford, giving me the chance to make a real contribution to the cause, whilst putting myself through a fair whack of pain.

The cycle won't just be a jolly in the French countryside, it's about 80 miles a day for 4 days, most of which will be spent staring at the tarmac groaning and cursing (and probably getting a bit burnt).
