Sick Kids Friends Foundation - Sick Kids Save Point · 7 October 2011 ·

Edinburgh Children's Hospital Charity believes no child should face hospital alone. Every day, 500 seriously ill children face a life-changing hospital visit. Children tell us it can be frightening. Parents say they're sick with worry. We want to change this. With your support, we can. Are you in?

Story

Hi everyone!

Thanks for coming to see my Fundraising page! Here you will find out more about what I am doing to raise money for the Sick Kids Hospital.

What am I doing to raise money? I will be raising money by having a marathon gaming session and playing for 24 hours straight

I know what you are thinking. "So you want me to sponsor you to play games?" Put simply yes. "Isn't that really easy?" No. This is a huge challenge. Not many people could pull off playing games for 24 hours straight. Think about the longest time you stayed in the one position playing a game or watching a movie. How hard it would be to do 24 hours in a row of an activity. It is a genuinely difficult challenge both mentally and physically.

If you want to follow me on twitter (Username: TheStuzo) during the challenge I will be tweeting every hour or two to prove that I am still awake and playing and will write regular, increasingly tired and incoherent, updates on my twitter and Facebook pages!

If you want to see what I am up to on the day then add me on either PSN (Username: Stuperb_Stuzo) or Xbox Live (username: Stuzo) I will be alternating between both systems to give them a rest.

Don't forget that you can get involved with my marathon too. If you want to suggest games for me to play, comment on how I am doing or even if anyone wants to join me in a game while I am participating - just add me on one of the profiles listed above and I will be happy to  hear what you have to say and join a game with you!

Last year I raised over £300 doing this marathon. Lets see if I can get my total over that this year!

Thanks for looking and donating!
