In September of next year, I shall be embarking on a brutal 11 day trek through the Himalayas with a team of fellow university students. We will be aiming to reach the base camp of the highest mountain in the world - Mount Everest.

The aim of my trip is to raise essential funds for The Children's Society. The Children's Society is a fantastic children's charity based here in the UK. The role of The Children's Society is to help children aged 10-18 who have suffered from neglect, child poverty, mental health and sexual exploitation. In 2015-2016 The Children's Society raised a total of £23m for the most at risk children in the country and with your generous donations they aim to make even more this year.
