Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Myself and a work coleague, Julian, decided to give ourselves a personal challenge of cycling all the way around Wales. 500 miles+. This is happening on the 20th May over 6 days.

At the time of deciding this we unfortunately lost two friends/work coleagues, Jenny Taylor and Lynn Dixon to this dreadful disease, with both suffering 2yrs of hell and unfortunately passing a few days apart. We thought this would be a fitting tribute to our friends and those who may need help in the future.

Without the support of yourselves and people willing to give up their time and holidays from work, researchers cannot find the funds to erradicate the disease. Without the researchers no drugs or cures would be found to give loved ones the life they deserve. The more we raise or help to raise the less time it will take to find these cures.

I am sure we have all lost someone close or know someone who has lost a family member from a form of cancer.

Myself and Julian are not athletes to say the least but are confident we can complete this challenge.

We will also be arranging a few other events before this one like

car wash day....In-store cycle ride in Waitrose....outdoor cycle ride including BBQ with partners from work...An in store pool competition and any other ideas we think up. Basically we will be doing as much as we can in the run up to the main challenge.

We are supporting ourselves the whole journey whether it be clothing, food or lodge ie camping including carrying our own gear etc.. We will complete this challenge In rememberance of Jenny and Lynn and also people who may be suffering or have suffered  and would like support from as many people as we can.

Please please if you like what we are doing click LIKE and pass on to your friends.

Again, thankyou for looking at my page and hope we can make a change to the future of many lives.
