As most of you are aware my dear mother passed away last year without giving us any notice. I have been thinking about taking part in a sponsored run for a while now and now seems the right time to participate.

I want my mum to be proud of me and so I am running on behalf of the Horse trust charity. Anyone who knew my mum would know this is who she would choose as a recipient. We raised just over £500 during the collection at her cremation and so I want to raise another £1000 to make it up to a nice big 4 figure number. As I write this note I have no idea how long the 10K run will take me, so my target of under 50 minutes is going to be tough.
