Mr Marpole has asked that any contributions for his retirement are donated to Redwings Horse Sanctuary where we hope to purchase a Portable scanner probe for our Ultrasound machine. This means we will be able to ultrasound our poorly residents much more easily. UPDATE: Thanks to your amazing generosity we have surpassed our original target of £1650.00. Mr Marpole has now also kindly offered to fund a new surgical trolley for our Veterinary Operating room. We have therefore extended the target to £2350.00. All of your wonderful donations will go towards these vital pieces of equipment. Thank you.
"I've been asked about a leaving present but honestly there isn't anything I really want or need. It makes much more sense to raise money for a valuable local charity which cares for animals that have suffered at human hands. I have no expectation about how much money will be raised but have made a commitment to top up the total so the portable scanner probe and surgical trolley will be bought. Thank you for anything you may donate."
Redwings is the UK's largest horse sanctuary, caring for over 1,450 horses, ponies, donkeys and mules every day. Our work is funded solely by donations and with your help we can give these animals the best possible care so they can eventually be rehomed or enjoy a home for life at the Sanctuary.
