Over the last year as my sister has adopted a little boy it has brought home to me just how lucky my sons are to grow up in a safe environment and that for too many children in this country this is not their normality.

Having decided to run a marathon this year I have chosen the children’s society because they do great work which has a positive effect on the lives of these children.
