Highland Cross is a 50 mile duathlon (walking or running 20 miles and cycling 30 miles) across Scotland from Kintail to Beauly. The event is organised by volunteers to raise funds for charities across the Highlands. Since 1983, over £6.3m has been raised and distributed in full to deserving causes.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my just giving page.

On the 21st June I will be taking part in my seventh Highland Cross event.  The Highland Cross is a  50-mile duathlon (20 miles on foot, 30 miles on bike) traversing the spectacular Scottish Highlands coast to coast, west to east from Kintail through Glen Affric and Strathglass to Beauly.

This is a charity event raising money for different local charities each year.  This year the selected charities are as follows -

  • Beauly and District Care Project
  • Cheshire House Inverness
  • Shopmobility Highland
  • Blythswood Care
  • Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland
  • Skye and Lochalsh Young Carers

The  link below takes you to the Highland Cross website where further information is available.

Any donations are greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Stuart
