Story
Ross Taylor and myself have accepted a challenge! we have given this challenge/opportunity a great deal of thought and we have decided we need to do this to raise awareness and raise money for this great cause.....we also need to do it for ourselves ! we want to put something back into "lymphoma association"
Most of you who know Jill, myself and the boys are aware that, a few years ago, at the age of 21, Luke our eldest son was diagnosed with hodgkins lymphoma, and had to go through a 6 month aggressive course of chemotherapy, and thankfully came through ...his diagnosis we were told, was one of the worst cases they had treated but he fought and won!
Most of you who know our family may not be aware that my Dad Ken was also diagnosed more recently with lymphoma at an advanced stage, and had to go through the hell... tests, waiting etc and the chemotherapy and he being in his 70`s ...he also thankfully won his personal battle....lymphoma/cancer can be beaten!
The challenge Ross and myself have accepted is to cycle from London to Paris over four days starting on July 19th and finishing on July 23rd......300 miles to raise money and awareness for the Lymphoma Association!
Ross and I know its a big ask so soon after Christmas but please be generous and support Ross and myself and ultimately lymphoma association.
Thank you for taking time to read our story and for your support.
Stuart and Ross
