Myself, lifelong friend Martin Hold and Richard Marshall are doing a 50k+ bike ride to raise money for Alder Hey. My wife Maggie and sister in law Louise have already both completed a 10k run to help raise funds for this fabulous charity. The main reason for this is mine and Maggies amazingly strong and brave  8 year old niece kitty Belle is undergoing neuroblastoma treatment and I myself never realised the full impact this has on families and the cost of the related  treatments ,and the work done behind the scenes in the hospital. My friend Martins wife Esther also sadly lost her step dad to covid 19, and he also was being treated in Alder Hey ,so they too have an involvement in Alder Hey.
