Hey all so I finished on 1.00.49 not quite the 1hr target I set myself but a good aim to beat next year. Thankyou all so so much for donating it is all really appreciated.
Hi Everyone, thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I've decided to do the British 10km London Run this year. For those of you who know me i'm not exactly the running sort, in fact its about as far from fun or what I would want to spend my time on as you could get.
However i've come a long way in the past 12 months, both in my fitness, but also in my expectations of myself and seeing the endurance of one of my best friends in completing the marathon I thought that it was about time that I see just how far I have come (I know 10km is far from a marathon but i'm hoping it will be a starting point to bigger and better things :)).
Few of you know that my family history includes Dementia and since having done the research into the various Charitys taking part in this event I found that the work of Alzheimer's Research UK resonated with me. As a result I thought that it would be a good idea to make sure that others benefit from this event and from this mental and physical challenge that i'm giving myself.
Anyway what I am trying to say is please donate what you can, it will go to a good cause and be well recieved and used, and as a result both the charity and I will be grateful and I will do my best to hold my end up and finish the 10km in sub 1hr.
Thanks Again
Love
Stuart
