Across England and Wales, we're the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals - the UK's largest animal welfare charity. We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome many animals each year and campaign and educate to prevent animal cruelty. The RSPCA is registered with the Fundraising Regulator.

Story

The RSPCA is unique animal welfare charity and proud to be the oldest welfare charity around. They were the first to introduce a law to protect animals and work hard to ensure that all animals can live a life free from pain and suffering.

Speak up

Through campaigns they raise standards of care and awareness of issues for the animals who have no voice.  With your support they push for laws to be changed, improving the welfare of animals on farms, in research labs, in the wild, in paddocks or in our homes.

Stand up

Through investigations and prosecutions they stand up to those who deliberately harm animals to send out a clear message - we will not tolerate animal abuse.

Highly trained officers tackle neglect and cruelty at every level and are working hard to stamp out large-scale serious, organised and commercial animal cruelty.

Be counted

Every animal has the right to be counted as an individual.

Animals can rely on us to rescue them when they need us most. To rehabilitate them wherever possible, provide them with the very best veterinary care and to find them new homes, either through rehoming or release.

Show your support

They are an animal welfare charity who rely on the continuing support of animal lovers like you. Help today so they can continue to be here for animals tomorrow.
