South Coast Mighty Hike - Macmillan Cancer Support

On Saturday 7 July our incredible team are taking on a challenging 26-mile marathon hike from Brighton to Eastbourne to raise money for people living with cancer.

Charity Registration No. 261017

Story

Like so many people, our family has been affected by cancer.

I lost my wonderful mother, Stella, to cancer. Although she had beaten this awful disease 25 years earlier, it came back with a vengeance and took her from us way too early. Stella spent her life caring for other people, having been a nurse, mother, grandmother and friend. She is still greatly missed and has left a huge hole in our lives. However, like Stella, I am a hugely positive person and although a 26 mile hike is no mission impossible, every penny raised for this fantastic charity is a positive step.

Macmillan cancer support is a wonderful charity that has been set up to help and support both cancer sufferers and their families. I have set a target of £500.00, but of course I am hoping to smash that. Even if you can donate a £1, it would be greatly received. I am walking the 26 mile hike with a few friends on 7th July 2018.

Reading this, you may even wish to join us. If you do fancy it, you are more than welcome. Either way, I would greatly appreciate your support.

Many thanks,

Stu
