Story

Thanks for visiting my page. I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation and I'd be so grateful for your support. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target.

Undertaking this challenge not only raises money for a good cause but also helps my cardiovascular health. With each donation I am encouraged to continue riding and practicing which is of course improving my health too, increasing this fat man’s chances of being a healthy geriatric!

Since 1961, British Heart Foundation has been at the forefront of research but work is needed more than ever. The BHF strategy sets out how they aim to help save and improve lives on a scale more ambitious than ever before.

The BHF strategy focuses on achieving 3 goals. Each addresses the major challenges faced in helping to save and improve lives from cardiovascular disease.

As a team the BHF is united in their ambition to:

1: Stop heart disease before it starts.

2: Save more lives from heart disease.

3: Support people with heart disease to live a longer, healthier life.

Your contribution will help the BHF in achieving their goals, thank you for your support.
