I'm running the 2022 Wizz Air Cardiff Half Marathon on Sunday 2 October.

My name is Stuart Southwell and I am a Senior Support Worker at NPT Paws at the Wallich. 

I am running the half marathon this year to raise money and awareness in the fight against homelessness. Homelessness effects so many people within our local communities who rely on services like NPT Paws to help them through tough times where their families and friends are unable to. 

The Wallich as an organisation helps people at different stages of their journeys and looks to build up people and sometimes their families to break the cycle of homelessness for some by helping them access other services, a safe place to stay, access courses to help promote independent life skills and courses which help to gain confidence and possibly employment for some. The Wallich promotes independence for its service users and looks to help them to lead a full better life.
