Stu B is Raising money for the Little Princess Trust

Raise money for the Little Princess Trust - I’ll donate my hair, you donate the money! :) · 23 May 2021
My long hair is my identity / my superpower and without it I feel a bit like Thor without his hammer. As many of you may know, I’ve been growing my hair extra specially long for a while so I can donate it to the Little Princess Trust (more on them below) I want to do so to give a child somewhere the chance to have their superpowers back having lost their hair through cancer treatments or similar. Anyway the time has come!! 💇♀️💈✂️😬
I’m guessing that during lockdown many folk have been able to grow theirs and do the same but I also know they’re desperate for 16” or more (!) so I’m ready to take the plunge and chop that off - it might leave me with some; it might not. But it’s reyt as I’m lucky enough that it will (should!) grow back. Maybe. 🤷🏼♀️ Anyway, this is where you come in - I was just gonna make the hair donation on the quiet and not make a big fuss BUT I’m now hoping to fundraise enough to at least cover the cost of making the wig. The rest goes towards funding pioneering, life-saving research into childhood cancers.
As always, please only donate if you can afford to. Any donation big or small will be gratefully received! 🙏🏼❤️ speak soon! Cheers, Stu. Xx
What they do: The Little Princess Trust provides free real hair wigs to children and young people, up to 24 years, who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions.
The Little Princess Trust provides free, real-hair wigs for young cancer sufferers or for children and young people experiencing the devastating effects of hair loss. We also fund pioneering, life-saving research into childhood cancers.
When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever.
